Like the moon lighting a mountain path through the dark, therapy can offer guidance, hope, and companionship — one step at a time, until the light of a new day begins to emerge.
There are times in life when the path ahead feels difficult to see — when we find ourselves in a place that feels dark, uncertain, or overwhelming.
At Moon Mountain Psychotherapy, we believe that even in the darkest moments, there is a light to guide the way. Like the moon illuminating a mountain path at night, sometimes we do not need to see the entire journey ahead. We simply need enough light to take the next step.
Therapy can be that space. We walk alongside you through the darkness — not to walk the path for you, but to help you find your way, recognize your own strengths, and reconnect with the light within you. Together, we navigate the terrain, one step at a time, until the path becomes clearer and the sun begins to rise.
Remember, the longest night eventually gives way to morning.
As a Registered Psychotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience, I offer a thoughtful and individualized approach to psychotherapy grounded in clinical expertise, compassion, and genuine human connection. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals and couples navigating emotional, relational, cultural, and life-transition challenges.
One of the strengths I bring to my practice is my ability to build strong therapeutic rapport and create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and respected.
I have also supported clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including newcomers and refugee clients navigating complex experiences of trauma, loss, adjustment, and rebuilding their lives.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of each client's individual experiences. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely seen and heard. Together, we work toward meaningful and lasting change.
I provide psychotherapy in both English and Farsi and welcome individuals and couples from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds.
My clinical practice draws from several evidence-based approaches, thoughtfully integrated according to each client's unique needs, goals, and readiness for change.
